Did you ever wonder why arm knitting is so great? It’s very simple. The best thing about it, is that all you really need to make beautiful blankets, pillows or scarves is a big chunky yarn and your own two hands.

The merino wool that you can buy in our store is very soft, warm and cozy. The yarn is very thick and always looks great. It’s silky and not itchy, so you can be sure that it won’t irritate your skin.
We have multiple colors available! Do you want to buy yarn in a different color or shade than what you see in our store? Contact us and we’ll do our best to get it for you!
1 stitch is around 3 inches.

Using our yarn you can create a: chunky knit blanket, chunky arm knit throw, infinity scarf, long chunky scarf, large knitted blanket, chunky sweater, super chunky hat with pom pom, baby blanket, giant knitted blanket, cat bed, dog bed or even felted and knitted bag.

You will also need around 1 kg (2.2 lbs) to make a big chunky scarf.

If you choose 1, 3 or 6 yarn samples – you will receive ONLY a yarn samples in the amount enough to check color in person. The size of each sample is about 2 inches (5 cm). Please keep in mind that yarn samples we are shipping economy mail, so delivery may take about 8 weeks.

Please remember that the size of the blanket will also depend on a chosen pattern and knitting style. Don’t tighten the yarn too much while knitting it will only harden the blanket and make it much smaller. Your blanket will be nice and soft in touch if you knit your stitches loosely. Don’t be afraid to use your arms – arm knitting is FUN :)!

If you want to make a blanket in different size then those stated above and need some help calculating how much chunky yarn you should purchase, please contact us – we don’t bite and we’ll be happy to help :)!

We always try to send wool in one piece but please keep in mind that because of the production limitations our yarn skeins can’t be larger than 4,5-5 kg (10-11 lbs). If you order the amount over 5 kg (11 lbs) you will receive the yarn in two (or more, depending on the amount ordered) pieces that needs to be joined by you.
